The Praha Outdoor Performance Stage (POPS) Committee of the New Prague Area Arts Council (NPAAC)
is made up of leaders from the community, city, arts groups and school district.
The officers of the POPS Committee are:

The POPS Committee is made up of numerous sub-committees. They include:
FUNDRAISING

Den Gardner - Lead
Focus on marketing and raising money. Create a three or four year giving plan.
We currently believe that we will need to raise between $1 and $2 million to build a suitable facility.
Phase I:
Year 1 $250,000 in donations and pledges.
Year 2 $500,000 in additional donations and pledges.
Year 3 $250,000 in additional donations and pledges.
Phase II:
Year 4 $500,000 in additional donations and pledges.
FINANCIAL/LEGAL

Bruce Wolf & Eric Brever - Leads
Set up a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. Handle donations.
LOCATION/DESIGN
Steve Frost - Lead
The location of the Praha Outdoor Performance Stage (POPS) is a key element in the building process. The city officials of New Prague, through its Park Board, are suggesting a handful of sites that might be appropriate for construction of the POPS.
The POPS Committee is vitally interested in input from city residents about the location of the facility. There are several areas of property under consideration. The POPS Committee is working closely with the city in reviewing the various sites and feasibility of each location. See "The Project" page for more information about the sites being considered.
MARKETING/

Setup a website and other social media handling. Media relations, public relations, advertising and special events.

Work with various groups in the greater New Prague area to collaborate as appropriate throughout this process.
GRANTS/PUBLIC-PRIVATE FINANCING

Sandi Loxton - Lead
Sandi is the Community Education Director for New Prague Area Schools
Look into opportunities or fundraising from non-profit foundations (private, family, etc.), state/federal grants, and others. Work with the city of New Prague, and others, as appropriate.
